Orion Military Scholarship Fund, Inc. Receives IRS Tax-Exempt Status

The Board of Directors of Orion Military Scholarship Fund, Inc. is proud to announce that, as authorized by IRS determination letter dated February 28, 2020, Orion is a tax-exempt public charity pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Sections 501(c)(3) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). As of Orion’s incorporation date of March 14, 2019, donors can deduct contributions to Orion Military Scholarship Fund, and Orion is qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.

Orion scholarships, which provide quality educational opportunities for the children of active duty military service members to attend select US boarding schools, are made possible through generous contributions from the public, private foundations, grants and corporate sponsorships.
